Won and Mok advance to Chunlan Cup
Today Cyberoro transmitted final of Korean preliminary to Chunlan Cup. In final we could see two games between Yi Younggu 7p vs Mok Jinseok 9p and Won Sungjin 9p vs Park Yeonghun 9p.
In first game Mok Jinseok 9p takes black stones and play very interesting new variation of komoku joseki in upper left corner. The game goes very smoothly until tried to defend his group on right side by making a ko. Unfortunately he was forced to back with white 222 and had a time to play black 225 and made big ko in white corner which give him easy win. After 291 moves Mok Jinseok won by 3,5 points.
Next game was also very interesting. In yesterday round Park Yeonghun 9p won very peaceful game but this time his opponent was Won Sungjin 9p who play more aggressive and won game by 1,5 point. Very funny were some jumps in bottom side started with black 35.
Beside today’s two winners in Chunlan Cup will play two seeded player: Yi Changho 9p and Yi Sedol 9p.
