3rd round of Jeongganjang start today. In first day against Tang Yi 3p Korea send Lee Minjin 5p. The game start really common but Tang Yi choose new joseki from yesterday game between Choi Cheolhan 9p and Cho Hanseung 9p. Choi variation wasn’t bad, but Tang Yi choose more aggressive variation with black 19.
Lee Minjin also play aggressive move - white 26. Taking one stone in sente isn’t good for white? After few moves we could see another very aggresive move (black 33). After white 46 situation turn into two step ko for black.
Lee Minjin use this hanami ko to obtain advantage on upper side. When chuban starts ko wasn’t finished and white gets small lead, so Tang Yi decide to kill white group in center. Again result was ko and again it was very hard ko for black because Tang Yi didn’t have enough big ko threats. After few moves later Lee Minjin won by resignation.

In this game you can see interesting tesuji from Dia.1 which give white lead. Tomorrow Lee Minjin will play against last Japan member Kato Keiko 5p and if she won her last opponent will Rui Naiwei 9 (Lee Minjin beat Rui in semifinal of Korean Female National Champion, so it should be interesting game).
