Third group of preliminary to Electron-Land Cup started today. This time is female group. According to Go News Cho Hyeyeon 7p beat today Rui Naiwei 9p and tomorrow will play with Park Jieun 9p.

Cho Hyeyeon 7p is author of greet english baduk blog, but I like very much Park Jieun style so it’s very hard to decide who to root tomorrow.

Review after today game

Today Han Sanghoon 2p and Kim Seongjae were playing in final of preliminary to Electron-Land Cup. I was right yesterday, when i told that this game will have very exciting chuban. The players don’t play fuseki at all Everything started with White 16, when Han choose the fighting variant of mini-Chinese fuseki. The most intersting moves from this game are 21(new pattern? losing move?), 68, 90, 109 and 110.

Kim Seongjae 1p vs Han Sanghoon 2p

From 31 January we can observe game from young group of preliminary to Electron-Land Cup. The rules of preliminary to Electron-Land Cup are unfamiliar for me and for this reason preliminary to this tournament for me is like another tournament when one can see many good games.
