Yi and Kang enters Fujitsu Cup

Korean preliminary to Fujitsu Cup ended. The winners are Kang Dongyun 7p and Yi Younggu 6p. In first game Kang Dongyun 7p beat Choi Cheolhan 9p by 6,5 points. Kang show that his baduk is very strong and Choi Cheolhan attack with cut -Black 47 fails. After some moves Choi Cheolhan manage to win a ko, but Kand Dongyun get some teritory on upper side and build large framework on left side, which was enough to win the game.

Korean Peliminary to Fujitsu Cup

Today Korea start new system to choose player to international tournament. In past Korea send player if they had a title or be a runner-up. New system give more change to young player with good Rate in previous year. In every next international tournament two seat will be decided by preliminary tournament. We could see today first preliminary to international title - Fujitsu Cup.
