Today two big star from 2007 play in Myeongin League: Mok Jinseok 9p and Kang Dongyun 7p. Up to today they play one game and both lost, so both want to win this game very badly. In second game of Myeongin League Cho Hanseung 9p beat Choi Myeonghun 9p by 6,5 points making jigo on the board. The most interesting was white 6. Recently this move is very popular in Korea. Later Choi Myeonghun try to build big moyo in center, but Cho Hannseung reduce it very skillful. After 246 moves Cho Hanseung won by 6,5 points. Read the rest of this entry »

Today hold another game from Myeongin League. This time Park Jungsang 9p play against Cho Chunhyun 9p. Park takes black and play “Korean fuseki”. The opening was very common until black. I thought that Park Jungsang will extend to second line in bottom right corner to end joseki. ending joseki isn’t so bad because without this extension black is little thin and white territory on right side is not small.
