1st World Mind Sport Games started 3 Oct. Besides Baduk there are other sports like Chess, Bridges, Draughts and Xiangqi. Of course for me the most interesting is baduk competition.

Andrychow 20-21 September
20-21, Andrychów, Poland held Polish preliminary to Korean Prime Minister Cup. For two days we could see strongest Polish players in one place. It is worth to remind that this tournament was also comeback for current Polish Champion - Kamil Chwedyna 4d, who was in military service for a year. Unfortunately last year champion Andrzej Zyzak 4dan don’t come to defend his title :(

Iyama Yuta take a lead
17-18 September second game of best-of-seven for Meijin title was held at Otsu. This time Iyama Yuta 8p took black stones giving Cho U 9p 6,5 point komi. In opening Iyama Yuta show very thick style by giving Cho U many points of territory. After first day Cho U was leading by territory, but Iyama Yuta global situation was very good.
